Our mission is to foster a space where people can meet new friends, share perspectives, and enjoy genuine human connection — all within a respectful and safe environment.

These Community Guidelines ("Guidelines") define what we expect from every person who uses Omingle. They apply to all interactions, whether you're using video, audio, text, or any other feature. By using Omingle, you agree to follow these rules. Violations may result in temporary or permanent loss of access, IP/device bans, and, in cases of illegal activity, referral to law enforcement.

These Guidelines exist to:

• Clearly define acceptable and unacceptable behavior on Omingle.
• Protect the safety, privacy, and dignity of all users.
• Explain the consequences for violating our standards.
• Create a consistent, fair framework for moderation and enforcement.

These rules apply to every interaction on the platform, including public chats, private messages (if available), and any content you display via your camera or microphone. They also apply to any attempt to circumvent our safety features or bans.

Omingle is strictly for adults aged 18 and older. No exceptions. By using the platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher).

What is prohibited:

• Misrepresenting your age to access the platform.
• Allowing a minor to appear on camera, even in the background.
• Engaging in conversation with someone you know or suspect is under 18.
• Using the platform to solicit, groom, or interact with minors in any way.

If you encounter someone you believe is under 18, disconnect immediately and use the Report button. Do not engage further.

We expect all users to treat each other with basic courtesy and respect. While spontaneous conversations can be unpredictable, the following principles should guide your interactions:

• Be polite. Greet others kindly and avoid aggressive language.
• Respect boundaries. If someone asks you to change the subject or disconnect, do so immediately.
• Use the Disconnect button. If a conversation makes you uncomfortable, you can leave at any time without explanation.
• Embrace diversity. Omingle connects people from different cultures, backgrounds, and beliefs. Disrespect based on identity is never acceptable.

Remember: behind every screen is a real person. Your words and actions have impact.

The following actions are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate enforcement action:

4.1 Harassment & Bullying

• Repeated unwanted contact or messages.
• Insults, name‑calling, or derogatory remarks about appearance, intelligence, or identity.
• Threats of violence, intimidation, or stalking.
• Encouraging others to harass or target a specific user.

4.2 Hate Speech & Discrimination

• Promoting violence or hatred against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
• Using slurs, stereotypes, or dehumanizing language.
• Displaying symbols or imagery associated with hate groups.

4.3 Illegal or Dangerous Activities

• Depicting, promoting, or threatening violence or self‑harm.
• Discussing, planning, or facilitating illegal acts (e.g., drug sales, weapon trafficking, fraud).
• Sharing content that exploits or endangers children (CSAM) — this will be reported to authorities immediately.
• Content that promotes terrorism or violent extremism.

4.4 Sexual Misconduct & Nudity

• No unsolicited nudity or sexual content. Omingle is a social platform, not an adult content site. Do not expose yourself or engage in sexual acts without clear, mutual consent.
• No sharing of sexually explicit images or links.
• No solicitation of sexual services or commercial sex.

4.5 Scams, Fraud & Impersonation

• Requesting money, gifts, or financial information.
• Phishing for login credentials or personal data.
• Impersonating another person, brand, or Omingle staff.
• Promoting multi‑level marketing schemes, cryptocurrency scams, or "get rich quick" offers.

4.6 Platform Abuse & Spam

• Using bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with the platform.
• Spamming repetitive messages, links, or advertisements.
• Attempting to bypass bans or security measures (e.g., using VPNs to evade IP blocks).
• Intentionally disrupting the service for other users (e.g., flashing strobe lights, loud noises).

Omingle is designed for ephemeral, private conversations. To protect everyone's privacy, you agree to the following:

• Do not share personal information (full name, address, phone number, email, financial details) during sessions.
• No screenshots, screen recordings, or audio capture of any session are permitted.
• Do not redistribute or publish any part of a conversation outside the platform.
• If you suspect someone is recording you, disconnect and report them immediately.

Violating this policy is a serious offense that will result in an immediate and permanent ban.

We rely on community reports to help keep Omingle safe. If you encounter a user violating these Guidelines:

• Use the Report button in the chat interface.
• Provide a brief reason for the report (e.g., "nudity," "harassment," "underage").
• Disconnect from the session — you do not need to stay and engage.

Our moderation team reviews reports and takes action based on the severity and frequency of violations. Enforcement actions may include:

• Warning: A notice reminding the user of the rules (for minor, first‑time infractions).
• Temporary Suspension: A time‑limited ban (e.g., 24 hours, 7 days).
• Permanent Ban: Complete and irreversible removal from the platform, including IP and device blocking.
• Legal Referral: Reporting to law enforcement or child protection agencies when required by law.

We reserve the right to enforce these Guidelines at our sole discretion. We are not obligated to provide a warning before taking action in cases of severe violations.

By creating an account or using Omingle as a guest, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Community Guidelines. You also understand that failure to comply may result in the loss of access to the platform.

We may update these Guidelines periodically. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when changes were last made. Your continued use of Omingle after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Guidelines.
